Deputies with the Acadia Parish Sheriff’s Office have arrested four people in connection with a recent rash of vehicle and home burglaries, Sheriff K.P. Gibson said.

The burglaries have happened across the parish over the past month, he said. The investigation is not complete, he said.

Arrested were:

Toni Jones, 27 of Crowley, booked with three counts of Burglary

Cody Segura, 31 of Crowley, booked with four Counts of Burglary

Sonja Fontenot, 52 of Church Point, booked with one Count of Burglary

Christopher Barnard, 43 of Church Point, booked with One Count of Burglary

“Our personnel have been working diligently to solve the recent burglaries within the parish," Gibson said. "Though these arrests are just a handful of the cases we are investigating, it is a step in the right direction. I applaud our deputies for their commitment and hard work."
