A group with the Acadiana Baptist Church are offering words of encouragement to drivers in Lafayette.
The group set up a tent and some signs in the Heymann Center parking lot and prayed with anyone who stopped by.
"You know there are a lot of broken people in this world," said Kole Swaims, Drive Thru Prayer Team. "This drive-thru prayer is meant to have those broken people come in and just receive the love that Christ has given us and allow us the opportunity to pray for them. The power of prayer is powerful. We want to pray for them and give their burdens to God."
