According to KPLC, the Sulphur Police Department says that a pedestrian was struck and killed by a train this morning.
A public information officer with the Sulphur Police Department told KPLC that the incident occurred at 3:00 am Tuesday morning on the railroad tracks between Beglis Parkway and Lewis Street in Sulphur.
The identity of the victim has not been released.
