ABC had two finales Monday night thanks to Dancing with the Stars and American Idol.
DWTS-Athletes aired earlier in the evening, with the top three athlete contestants facing off for the mirror ball trophy. Tonya Harding, Adam Rippon, and Josh Norman.
In the end, Rippon walked away with the mirror ball trophy.

After the stars, the final three contestants of American Idol waited for their results on who would be named the next American Idol.
Caleb Lee Hutchinson, Gabby Barrette, and Maddie Poppe gave their final performances to the judges Sunday night.
Monday, the contestants again performed along with other singers for the two-hour season finale. Gabby Barrette was named the third-place contestant leaving Hutchinson and Poppe.
The two final two revealed that they are a couple, singing a duet of "Somewhere Over the Rainbow"
In the end, Maddie Poppe walked away with the title of American Idol.

A little closer to home, KATC caught up with New Iberia native Anamé Rose. She made it to the top 70 in this year’s competition.
Anamé will soon be releasing a single called "Swing Me" featuring Lafayette native Cupid. She will also be moving to California this fall to attend the Los Angeles recording school.
