The Port Barre Police Department says they are currently searching for a missing man last seen on Sunday morning.
Police say that 53-year-old Malcom Keith Lejeune was last seen on Sunday morning at his home in Port Barre. Police say that Lejeune may have a medical condition.
Lejeune is described as 5’7" and approximately 200 pounds with black and gray hair. Police say he was last seen wearing black dress pants, black shoes, and an aqua blue T-shirt.
Lejeune was driving a White 2016 Toyota 4Runner with the Louisiana license plate number 340ACB.
Chief Boudreaux says that Lejeune’s phone was tracked on Airline Highway in Gonzales at 4:00 pm on Sunday. He says that Lejeune’s phone appears to have been either turned off or have a dead battery.
