State Police are currently on scene of a fatal crash in the Mermentau Cove area of Acadia Parish.
State Police say the single-vehicle crash happened this morning on LA 92 near US 90. There is one confirmed fatality, according to State Police.
One person is also in critical condition. It was unknown at this time how many people were transported to the hospital.
The crash is currently under investigation by State Police.
