Tuesday, LUS Fiber held a press conference focusing on recent enhancements to their services.
During the event, LUS Fiber Director Terry Huval discussed increased service speeds. The new enhancements included an increase of 10 gigabytes per second on service to customers.
City-Parish President Joel Robideaux was also on hand to tout the changes. Officials say that LUS Fiber is one of the first fiber services in the country to provide these increased services.
"LUS fiber is announcing today that we are able to provide 10gb per second of service to residential customers, we’re one of the first in the country to do this, along with only a handful to have done this," Terry Huval.
