A teen is facing illegal use of weapons and illegal possession of a firearm charges after allegedly firing shots early Wednesday evening.
Officers patrolling near South and Cane Streets heard the shots around 6:40 p.m. The officers say they found the suspect, a 13-year-old, with a gun.
No one was hurt in the shooting.
