City of Scott announces controlled burn

Posted

The City of Scott says that they are scheduling a controlled burn for the second week of May.

Comprehensive Plan Facilitator Pat Logan says that starting on May 7, 2018, there will be a controlled burn of the wooded area just east of L. Provost Road in preparation for construction of a major drainage retention pond. This burn will be done if weather permits.

The City says it will do its best to limit the effects or inconvenience to the surrounding areas.

Those residents with questions can call City Hall at 337-233-1130
