Cameron Street is closed in both directions in the 2300 block.
A deputy approached an individual sleeping in a vehicle at Bertrand and Ambassador Caffery Monday afternoon, according to a spokesman for the sheriff’s office. The driver took off after waking up. Deputies say the pursuit ended in a crash.
The driver was seriously hurt and transported to a hospital.
