It’s the last day of Festival International, but there’s still time to get out there and enjoy what the festival has to offer.

Musical groups from all over the world will be performing throughout the day with the last performance ending at 7 p.m.

Festival also caters to the kids. At Scène des Jeunes, located on Cathedral-Carmel’s campus, you’ll find dancing, arts and crafts, and face painting.  Be mindful those activities wrap up late afternoon. Les Jeunes Chanteurs d’Acadie, the French language youth chorale from Canada, will be performing at 1:45 p.m.

You may see some familiar faces; our talent will be volunteering at Scène des Jeunes, helping out with crafts and at Scène Laborde Earles Law Firm Fais Do Do where you can purchase the 2018 Festival International pin. All proceeds go to Festival International, which ensures its longevity.

Pop on over to the KATC/Louisiana Folk Roots Chat Room to meet some of this year’s performing artists from 12 p.m. – 6 p.m.

For a quieter experience, check out Cité des Arts. A Wonderland Performing Arts teamed up with Festival International for Zombie Prom, which they describe as a "girl-loves-ghoul rock and roll Off-Broadway musical." Sunday’s performance is at 2 p.m. Click here for tickets.

If you’re looking for transportation to and from the festival, you can park for free at Cajun Field where a shuttle takes you downtown. Don’t forget: the last bus leaves downtown for Cajun Field at 8 p.m.

But the party doesn’t stop. Blue Moon Saloon is hosting a Festival Appreciation Party with a performance by Jourdan Thibodeaux et Les Rôdailleurs from 8 p.m. – 11 p.m.
