Three arrested in connection with Catherine Street shooting

Although the investigation is still very active, Lafayette Police have arrested three people so far in connection with the shooting on Catherine Street this morning. 

Police describe the incident as a "drug deal gone bad."

Madison Dye, 18, and Gracen Parchman, 19, were each booked with principal to attempted first-degree murder. Their bond has been set at $50,000. 

Casey Carret, 21, was booked with conspiracy to distribute narcotics. His bond was set at $10,000. 

Charges are pending against the person who was shot, who has not yet been identified by police, a spokesman said. 

The investigation is continuing. 

The shooting happened at about 1:30 a.m. today on Catherine Street.
