The Iberia Parish Coroner’s Office has released the cause of death for the missing St. Martinville Fisherman found in a waterway near Lake Fausse Point on April 18.
An official with the coroner’s office says that drowning was the cause of 56-year-old William Londo, Jr.’s death. Authorities say that it is still unknown at this time how Londo Jr. entered the water.
Wildlife and Fisheries agents say that his body was found without a life jacket.
