The Center for Health Services is providing information on the upcoming changes in Medicare.
Representatives were on-hand to answer any questions senior citizens had about the new Medicare cards being sent out this month.
State health officials were also at the event to discuss the senior health insurance information program.
"Health care cost is expensive, so anything that we can do to help those in the community to save money on their health care cost, that’s our mission," said Tommie Anderson. "So we’re not just looking at the medical services that our patients need, we’re looking at the social side."
