Morgan City Police arrested a local man and booked him on warrants for 30 counts child pornography.
David J. Elliott Jr., 41, was arrested Friday at his home on Franklin Street, police say.
Warrants were issued for Elliott’s arrest after an investigation that began with a tip to the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children.
The tip was passed on to the state Attorney General’s Office, and investigation allegedly found Elliott in possession of child pornography involving children younger than 13 years old. No bond has been set for his release yet.
The investigation is continuing.
