A convenience store on LA 319 in Cypremort Point ignited into flames overnight.
St. Mary Parish Fire Protection District #11, Cypremort Point, Baldwin, Jeanerette, Grand Marais, and Chitimacha fire agencies responded to Las’ Stop Marina after receiving a call at 12:50 a.m. about the fire.
The convenience store is located in the 2500 block of Hwy. 319.
St. Mary Parish Fire Chief Clarence Clark says there were no injuries.
The cause of the first has yet to be determined. The State Fire Marshal’s Office is handling the investigation.
