Duson Police say they are searching for a habitual runaway teen.
On Wednesday, March 28, 2018, at approximately 9:44 PM, 16-year-old Venus Vine Archangel, ran away from her mother’s residence in Duson, La.
An investigation showed that Venus had allegedly cut the screen window in the bathroom of the residence and crawled out of it. Police say that Venus went to the Dollar General store located several blocks away from the mother’s home and used the phone, at which time she contacted an unknown individual.
Soon after, Venus was picked up by from the parking lot of the store.
According to Venus’ mother, she may have gone to the Abbeville area with a boy named Malik. Venus’ mother also advised that she is a habitual runaway.
KATC has reports of Archangel running away numerous times. The most recent incident was in August of 2017 but articles relating to Archangel go back to November 2016 and as far as 2015.
Venus was last seen wearing a long-sleeved navy blue shirt and khaki pants. Venus Archangel has been placed into NCIC as missing person.
