The Cajun BMX racing league is inviting rookie riders to join their lessons at Picard Park in Milton.
The league offers no pressure activities to help beginners learn how to maneuver courses and develop bike handling skills. The Open House Tuesday introduced the public and newcomers to the course at Picard Park.
"It is an awesome dream and a passion to get kids out into something they probably haven’t seen in years. Get them exposed to something that is not a stick or a ball sport and let them know that there is a whole other type of sport that they can absolutely get involved in," Scott Sonnier, the President of Cajun BMX Park.
