An arrest was made in the shooting death of an Acadiana High School student.
A 17-year-old male was arrested on Wednesday on a charge of second-degree murder and booked into the Lafayette Parish Jail.
Wykiel Provost, 17, died from injuries sustained in an April shooting in the 100 block of Sweetbriar Street in Lafayette Parish.
