Dollar General is making adjustments to accommodate senior shoppers. Beginning Tuesday March, 17, 2020 the store will dedicate the first hour of each shopping day to seniors.
In a news release a spokesman for the store says "Dollar General wants to provide these at-risk customers with the ability to purchase the items they need and want at the beginning of each day to avoid busier and more crowded shopping periods."
They are encouraging other customers to plan their shopping around this window of time.
Dollar General will also close one hour earlier than current close time to allow employees to clean and re-stock store shelves.
