No Impacts Expected for Acadiana

and last updated

The latest advisory as of 10am Friday pushes Potential Tropical Cyclone #9 farther east. This track would leave the center of circulation over water and would be a stronger system. It should be named Humberto within the next day or so, and the forecast brings it to Hurricane status as it moves eastward away from the U.S. east coast. An intermediate advisory will be issued with a new position at 1pm. The next full advisor from the National Hurricane Center will come at 4pm with a new position update as well as a new intensity and forecast track.
