Bryand McIntosh, a professional gamer who was born in New Orleans and spent much of his life in Lafayette, tragically and suddenly passed away at a New York gaming event on Saturday. He was a pillar of the Lafayette community and beloved by many.

Bryand McIntosh had a seizure during Saturday's event.
He was a professional fight game known as Crucial-B in the Lafayette gaming community.
"He was so good," said Jeff Pearson, friend of Bryand. "He was one of the best players and he would make the time to teach you how to become better and if he saw you playing against someone else you know he would give you the tips on what you could have done better. He was a really good mentor he was just you know he was just a really good guy."
