Greg Garbarino from Lafayette Consolidated Government's Parks and Recreation Department stopped by the show this morning to let us in on a fun children's event happening this Saturday.
The LCG is hosting a Kid's Carnival tomorrow, July 27, at Girard Park from 10:00am to 2:00pm. The carnival will feature activities like a water slide and a fun jump. Hot dogs, lemonade and other food items will be served throughout the day.
There is no registration necessary for Saturday's event, and admission is completely free. Kids should come prepared with swimming suits to enjoy the water slide.
Families are encouraged to go out and enjoy LCG's Carnival to wrap up the summer season.
