This morning in the studio, SLCC’s Assistant Dean of Allied Health Harmony Rochon and Paramedic Program Manager Gifford Saravia stopped by to tell us about free online information sessions that the National EMS Academy is hosting!
The National EMS Academy, a division of Acadian Companies, is holding free online information sessions in advance of the Fall semester of EMT, anatomy and physiology (A&P) and paramedic classes. The academy is a partnership between South Louisiana Community College and Acadian Ambulance, founded in 2003, to educate and train students to become EMTs and paramedics.
Information sessions are an essential and mandatory part of a student’s enrollment process for EMT, A&P, and paramedic programs. The sessions cover details on the hybrid online program schedule, enrollment processes, current tuition, financial aid options, and payment options. Although the sessions are held online, space is limited and interested students must register in advance.
The sessions are the first step toward a career in EMS, which has many advancement opportunities! Careers are readily available!
Register today! For more information on session dates, information on these programs, or to register, go to www.nationalemsacademy.com/louisiana-information-sessions
