GMA is On the Road all week long for the Scott Boudin Festival. During the week, we’ll be highlighting some of the neat places you must see in and around Scott.
One of the city’s staples is The Coffee Depot located on St. Mary Street. It’s one of the first things you see when you roll into town. A stomping ground for locals and visitors alike, the Depot sits in a restored building that was once a warehouse on the railroad.
The owners of The Coffee Depot tell us that they wanted to turn the space into somewhere unique to Scott.
“We just felt like there wasn’t a place in Scott where people could just come and gather, get a cup of coffee and stay all day and talk,” says owner Jeff Laughlin. “It’s more about community getting, visiting, and staying in touch.”
