The 20th Annual Career Connections will be hosted on February 19th at the CajunDome Convention Center. Career Connections provides 4000+ tenth grade students an opportunity to invest in their futures. Students will explore a variety of career options and meet the people who perform these jobs on a daily basis.
Business people have a chance to share their careers and their expertise with our future leaders- thousands of curious and inquisitive tenth graders. Businesses from every industry are invited to share their knowledge and experience with the students.Interactive, hands-on displays are encouraged as well as literature describing the various careers available.
Career Connections needs local businesses to man a booth for the event and help educate students about their particular field. Having various career fields present is essential to the success of our event.
