The St. Landry-Evangeline United Way will host their 10th annual BOO-gie Ball on Saturday, October 6th at the Grand Theater in Opelousas from 7:00 pm until 11:00 pm.
The event is one of the major fundraisers for the United Way and helps the organization to continue to support the communities they serve in the areas of education, health, and financial stability. This year’s event will feature a brand new twist in the form of a “Scream Team.” The Scream Team will be selling tickets and vying for votes to be crowned King and Queen of the ball. Entertainment during the event will include music from One Trick Pony, an auction, and costume contest. Dinner will also be provided.
