The Baton Rouge Gem and Mineral Society will host their Gem and Mineral Show at the Lamar Dixon Expo Center in Gonzales on Saturday, August 11 and Sunday, August 12.
The show will take place from 10:00 pm to 5:00 pm each day in the Expo Center’s Trademart building. The entrance fee for the show is $5. Children ages 5-12 get in for $3.
There will be a drawing during the show where those who attend can win a 16″x7.5″ Amethyst Cathedral. Tickets for the drawing are $1.

Members of the society will also be giving presentations at the Lafayette Public Library on October 3.
