The Hilliard Art Museum is hosting several new exhibitions this summer featuring A. Hayes Town, Salvador Dali, and other international and local artists.
The new art exhibitions will also feature events that compliment each series of shows. A list of those events can be found at hilliardmuseum.org
The A. Hays Town exhibit, which will celebrate the 50th anniversary of the opening of the original Art Center of Southwestern Louisiana and Town’s legacy as a famed Louisiana architect. The exhibit will focus on the evolution of Town’s work, covering more than 70 years of residential architecture.
The museum will also feature works by famed international artist Salvador Dali. The showcase will feature 140 of the Spanish surrealist artists works including "Les Chants de Maldoror" and "The Divine Comedy." The exhibit will focus on the progression of Dali’s personal life and views through art.
An evening of wine and cheese will be held on June 29 from 6:00 pm to 8:00 pm.
