Rally Marketing, Opportunity Machine, and other agencies will hold the 3rd annual Social Media Day Lafayette on Friday, June 22, at the UL Student Union.
The event will be held from 8:00 am until 5:00 pm and is free and open to the public. The conference will include forums where beginners, experts, and small business owners can learn about new trends on social media and connect with others in the community.
Speakers will hold sessions during the day and those who attend are asked to reserve their seats for each session that interests them. A list of speakers, topics, and session times can be found online smdaylft.com
An afterparty will be held at 8:00 pm at Wurst Biergarten.
Social Media Day was started in 2010 by Mashable as a way to recognize and celebrate the impact of social media on global communication.
