KATC’s Kendria LaFleur is at the Hilliard Art Museum with details on the opening of new exhibitions for the summer season.
The Art Museum, located on UL Lafayette’s campus will open three new exhibitions this summer displaying works of Louisiana architect A. Hays Town, surrealist artist Salvador Dali, and new media artist Marina Zurkow.
Town’s exhibition will focus on Town’s works as a residential architect, showcasing the designs that gained him national renown and over 70 years of the evolution of Town’s work.
The new gallery installations will be open to the public beginning on Friday, June 15 with a free reception to be held from 6:00 pm to 8:00 pm. Private members will be allowed to preview the exhibits from 4:00 pm to 6:00 pm. Refreshments will be provided.
