Kites Above Acadiana Kids Fund joined GMA to promote their fundraiser for the "Healing Garden," a new secure outdoor play area at Women’s and Children’s Hospital in Lafayette.
In 2017, the Kites Above Acadiana volunteer committee has initiated a fundraising campaign to build a safe and secure outdoor space for patients who are admitted to the hospital. The "Healing Garden" will enhance the healing process and bring comfort and normalcy whether patients choose to reflect and get fresh air or participate in interactive activities. Donations can be made directly to the "Healing Garden" project, here.
The fundraiser is a partnership with Community Foundation of Acadiana and their inaugural Giving Day fundraiser. Donations can be made on the South Louisiana Giving Day website. Contributions are tax-deductible.
