Festival International de Louisiane is only eight days away and this morning representatives from LUS Fiber and Festival International joined GMA to give some perspective on the tech side of the festival.

It’s 2018, and with the fun of festival comes the need to use technology. LUS, working as a presenting sponsor, is once again offering free wifi for all festival goers that will allow them to quickly share their photos to social media and make timely messages and calls.

This year the festival will also offer a new RFID wristband which will reduce the use of tickets and is expected to make purchasing food and drinks easier and faster for all those who attend. RFID wristbands can be picked up at one of the "Top-up Stations" during Festival.

Festival passes will also make a return to this year’s festival scene. Those interested in making the most of their festival experience can purchase passes online.

Find out all about Festival International de Louisiane including music lineups and volunteer opportunities online at festivalinternational.org. The party lasts from April 25 to April 29 in Downtown Lafayette.
