The UL Lafayette Ira Nelson Horticulture Center will host their Festival Des Fleurs Garden Show and Sale on Saturday, April 14.
The event will be held from 8:00 am to 4:00 pm at Blackham Coliseum.
The festival, which began 27 years ago, raises funds for the Ira Nelson Horticulture Center in Lafayette.
70 booths and retailers will be set up at the event for guests to purchase plants and other horticultural items. Master gardeners will be on hand to give talks on growing specific plants and share advice on care and weather, including severe winters. The event will feature garden show and competition.
Tickets are $5, and children 12 and under get in free. A discount on tickets can be found in the newspaper or at UL Lafayette.
A free plant will be given to the first thousand guests.
