LCG and the Acadiana Planning Commission are asking for feedback from the public for their University Avenue Corridor Study. The second series of public meetings will begin tomorrow, Tuesday, April 10.

KATC’s Dannielle Garcia was LIVE this morning with an early look at the proposed changes.

The public meeting will take place at Bridge Ministry of Acadiana on University Avenue and allow Lafayette residents to share their thoughts on the future of the University Avenue Corridor. The event starts at 6:00 pm.

The six-month planning process is at its halfway point. A few plans have already been worked through and will be presented at the meeting. Residents will have the opportunity to hear about the proposed plans and then give constructive feedback on which projects they find suit the corridor best.
