Iberia Crime Stoppers is asking for help from the public solving a robbery.
On May 23 and 24, two convenience stores were robbed at gunpoint and police say the suspect is the same in both crimes. The robberies occurred within four hours of each other.
The suspect is described as five feet, ten inches to six feet tall. The suspect was wearing a black and grey Nike backpack with orange accents and orange Nike checkmark, according to deputies. The suspect produced a black semi-automatic handgun to each of the clerks demanding cash and cigarettes.
