High pressure will keep skies sunny throughout the day. We'll start out somewhat cool, but pleasant, as most areas will drop into the mid to upper 40s before sunrise. Sunshine will continue through the day and highs should reach the mid 70s. Clear skies will continue overnight as lows will drop into the mid 50s.

The return flow will set up for Thursday. This should bring increasing cloudiness through the day. Expect temperatures to warm back into the mid to upper 70s for highs. Humidity levels will be increasing. A few showers will develop during the overnight hours Thursday into Friday. A front will swing into the area early Friday, but moisture from the Gulf of Mexico will be sliding northward well ahead of the front. This could set up a brief heavy rain potential early Friday with showers continuing into the evening. There could be a few thunderstorms, but the chances of any severe weather will be low. Significant amounts of rainfall will be the main threat, especially along the coast.

By Saturday, most of the rainfall will be passing eastward. Clouds will remain, and temperatures will be cooler. Sunny skies are expected to return on Sunday!
