The St. Mary Parish Office of Emergency Preparedness and Homeland Security has established 3 curfews in preparation for Barry's landfall.
The shelters are open for anyone in low lying areas or anyone who does not feel safe staying where they are.
The following shelters will be available starting at 7 p.m. tonight:
Berwick Civic Center
Baldwin Civic Center
Franklin Recreational Center (near the old hospital)
All shelters are equipped with cots, blankets, and limited food.
If you have special food or medicinal requirements, you must bring your own.
