GasBuddy has activated its fuel availability tracker ahead of Tropical Storm Barry's landfall to help motorists in affected areas find fuel should stations run out.
GasBuddy's free app can differentiate stations that have no gasoline, no diesel, or no power so motorists can try other stations. The app can be updated by motorists and motorists are encouraged to report the status of any station they see to help others find gasoline or avoid stations that have no fuel or power.
Stations in the impacted areas can update their outage statuses by contacting pages@gasbuddy.com.
