A Cypremort Point business has started rebuilding following Hurricane Barry.
Bayview Inn Grocery survived three hurricanes prior to Barry, then was closed for years after the BP Spill and was just recently renovated. The business received extensive damage from Barry.
Bayview Inn Grocery posted videos on their Facebook page on the damage and the recovery from the storm.
In one of the videos the the store gives a shout-out to 103.7 Acadiana Sports Station for letting them use their cooking trailer.
The St. Thomas More Fishing Rodeo in Cypremort Point that was supposed to take place this weekend, July 19 and 20, has been moved to August 2 and 3.
