Temperatures overnight and into Tuesday morning will be dropping back into the mid and upper 60s across Acadiana.
Patchy fog will likely form once again on early Tuesday morning and last around the mid-morning time frame before it begins to burn off.
Partly cloud skies will persist throughout Tuesday afternoon as high temperatures climb into the mid 80s.
Rain chances will sit no better than 10%.
Another warm one can be expected for Wednesday as high temperatures reach the mid and even upper 80s through the afternoon under mostly sunny skies.
A weak upper-level trough moving in from the west coupled with lingering Gulf moisture will provide a slightly higher chance to see scattered showers and storms on Thursday afternoon. Still, no washout expected.
Rain chances come back down on Friday, and the upcoming weekend looks good as highs settle into the lower 80s.
Next significant cold front does not look to arrive until early and mid next week...
There is still some uncertainty in the exact timing and strength of this front (simply because we are still 7-9 days out) so we will have to monitor trends in the coming days.
All in all. a pretty quiet weather pattern for Acadiana through the next several days.
In the tropics: Tropical Storm Epsilon formed on Monday morning in the Central Atlantic.
It is forecasted to move just east of the island of Bermuda in the coming days...
It is no threat to Acadiana.
The only other area we are monitoring continues to have chances dropped in regards to developments in the next 5 days.
Chances are down to 10% and development of this area remains unlikely.
Some of this moisture will creep into the Gulf helping to elevate rain chances for portions of the Gulf Coast by late week, but nothing organized is expected to develop out of this.
No threat to Acadiana.
