Happy Friday eve, Acadiana!

The weather continues to be on a roll across the region with fair to mainly sunny skies expected once again on Thursday.

High pressure that was once right overhead the region earlier this week has now shifted off to our east which is allowing for more of a southerly flow out of the Gulf of Mexico.

As a result, our humidity will be inching upwards through the next several days as high temperatures climb into the mid to upper 70s.

With dew points coming up overnight tonight and into Friday morning, expect areas of patchy fog to develop across the region.

Quiet weather pattern will remain in place as we round out the week and head into the weekend.

Rain chances will remain minimal through the weekend and into early parts of next week.

A better chance of scattered showers and storms will come late in the day on Tuesday and into early Wednesday ahead of a front.

As of now (and as long as the current forecast holds) the weather looks to cooperate for Thanksgiving!

Have good rest of the week!
