Some gusty winds (gusts up to 60 mph) will accompany a few of the storms that push through, especially for southern Acadiana.

The bulk of this activity pushes out of the region later on tonight

Temperatures will be falling into the lower 50s overnight and into Sunday morning under cloudy skies.

Clouds will stick with us for the better part of Sunday with some gradual clearing possible late (especially for NW Acadiana).

Highs will mainly be hovering in the mid to upper 50s on Sunday.

Clear skies will return to all of Acadiana late Sunday night into Monday morning as lows drop into the upper 30s to lower 40s.

Mainly sunny skies can be expected on Monday as highs top out comfortably into the mid-60s.

Similar temperatures going into Tuesday with a bit more cloud cover developing by the afternoon.

Clouds will build going into Wednesday ahead of a stronger cold front.

Temperatures will be climbing to near 70 degrees on Wednesday afternoon.

Few scattered showers possible early on Christmas Eve before we start to dry things out by the afternoon.

Highs will struggle to get into the lower 50s.

Very cold start heading into Christmas Day as lows will be near freezing and highs once again struggle to reach the lower 50s.

Mainly sunny skies can be expected.

Looks like Santa will definitely have to bundle up on his way into Acadiana
