Fall conditions will make a much welcomed return this week across the region.
Get the jackets ready for out the door on Monday morning.
Clear skies along with a drier atmosphere in place tonight will allow temperatures to drop off quickly as lows eventually fall into the lower and mid-40s by Monday morning.
High pressure will continue building into the region on Monday giving way to gorgeous conditions out there.
We will see abundant sunshine as highs top out right around 70 degrees.
Plenty of sunshine can be expected through mid-week as lows remain in the 40s with highs settling into the lower and mid-70s.
High pressure will slowly start to slide off to our east for late week allowing for more of an onshore flow from the Gulf of Mexico.
Thus, humidity will be a touch higher and we will see a little bit of a warming trend for the end of the week and the upcoming weekend, but all things considered, a pretty nice pattern shaping up indeed.

In the tropics: Iota has quickly strengthened into a hurricane and remains a healthy tropical system.
It will continue rapidly intensifying until approach to Central America on early Tuesday.
It is now forecasted to achieve category 4 strength..
Heavy rainfall, damaging winds and mudslides will all be a major concern once again for our friends in Central America.
It will stay well south of the Gulf of Mexico and be no threat to us here in Acadiana.
