Drier air has filtered into Acadiana behind yesterday's "cool" front and while temperatures will only be down a degree or two from yesterday, it'll feel quite nice for a Thursday in June.
Expect mainly sunny skies out there today with the exception of a passing afternoon cloud or two. High temperatures will top out in the mid to upper 80s. With dew points and humidity values on the lower side, it really won't get much better for a June afternoon if you ask me!
Lows tonight will drop back into the mid 60s as another pleasant evening is shaping up for Acadiana.
Expect the nicer weather to continue for at least the next several days. Temperatures and humidity values will start to creep up as we head into the latter part of the weekend and into the majority of next week, but rain chances will remain at or below 20% through the entirety of the 10-day. You can get the complete 10-day forecast at KATC.com or on our app. Y'all have a great day and enjoy this weather... we know it won't last too long!
