A high end event/significant severe weather outbreak expected for a large part of the Deep South and primarily just north of Acadiana, however latest model data indicates the risk of a supercell storm or two locally with all the commensurate severe weather threats including large hail, damaging winds & isolated tornadoes.
The "enhanced" outlook area has been expanded farther south to the I-10 corridor.
A Tornado Watch for the rest of Acadiana is probable into this afternoon/evening...stay tuned and weather aware!
