A dry, cool front is swinging across Acaidana this evening but you won't really notice a change til Saturday afternoon as the cooler air is lagging way behind the front.
Thus, it will be a comfortable evening with temperatures in the 60s.
Then with increasing clouds overnight lows Saturday will only dip into the low to mid 50s.
But with a fair amount of high clouds and a light northerly breeze Saturday afternoon highs will struggle to warm up topping out in the mid 60s.
We should get a bit more sunshine on Sunday making it feel perfect for early December with highs in the upper 60s to near 70.
Monday winds will turn out SSW and pick up to 10-20 mph pushing temperatures into the upper 70s to near 80 under mostly cloudy skies.
A few isolated showers will be possible Monday afternoon/evening before widespread scattered showers arrives Tuesday morning as our next cool front swings across Acadiana.
Light showers will linger throughout Tuesday behind the front but rain totals will only be around a tenth to a quarter of an inch.
Behind this front cooler and breezy conditions will dive over Acadiana as winds will be out of the north at 10-20 mph with temperatures hovering in the 50s most of the day.
Wednesday morning we could be waking up to temperatures in the upper 30s.
And the cool air looks to stick around for a couple days with highs Wednesday and Thursday only topping out in the mid to upper 50s.
Then on Friday both long range models show a system moving out of the Gulf and over South Louisiana producing scattered showers and a few storms.
Good news is this looks to be a quick moving system setting up another nice fall-like weekend with highs in the 60s under partly cloudy skies.
