Staying cool as afternoon highs only top out in the middle 50s.

Winds will be out of the northwest at around 10-15 mph.

Winds will start to relax as high pressure starts to near the area heading into Tuesday morning.

As a result, temperatures will be falling into the middle 30s for Tuesday morning.

Patchy frost will definitely be possible, so keep that in mind for the plants and pets.

We will likely see more mid-high-level clouds streaming in throughout the day on Tuesday, but otherwise, nice and cool conditions will persist as afternoon highs climb into the middle to upper 50s.

Temperatures will be back in the 30s going into Wednesday morning, but as high pressure starts to slide off to our east, expect a milder temperature trend to kick in.

Still plenty of sunshine for Wednesday as highs settle into the lower 60s.

We will see more clouds and milder conditions heading into Thursday as temperatures top out in the lower 70s.

Forecast confidence starts to decrease by late week, as models continue to diverge on a solid outcome.

European Model ushers in a front (and scattered showers) Thursday night into early Friday morning, whereas the GFS holds off on that front until during the day Friday and perhaps into Friday evening.

Regardless, the forecast gets interesting for the latter half of next weekend and into the first parts of next week.

Models continue to hint at the fact that we could see deep troughing aloft with colder air spilling down from the north.

If this were to come to fruition, winter would have something to say about being over quite yet!

Still several days out, so we will see if trends hold...

Y'all have a great week... welcome to February!
