Welcome to the weekend, Acadiana!

It will be a chilly start with lows falling back into the mid to upper 30s across the region under clear skies by Saturday morning.

Some patchy frost will be possible for northern parishes of Acadiana, but otherwise, no real issues are anticipated.

Expect partly cloudy skies throughout your Saturday afternoon as a decent amount of high level-clouds stream in from the SW.

The day will remain dry as high temperatures settle into the upper 50s to near 60 degrees.

A few spotty showers will be possible late Saturday night into Sunday morning as a fast moving system approaches the area.

We will keep isolated rain chances in the forecast through the Sunday morning time frame before the bulk of the activity starts to push out of here.

Mostly cloudy skies can be expected for Sunday as high temperatures top out in the upper 50s.

Skies will start to clear Sunday evening which will pave the way for a nice looking forecasting heading into next week.

Plenty of sunshine will be in place as highs settle into the 50s and 60s with overnight lows mainly in the 30s and 40s.

Y'all have a great weekend!
