A really pretty week is shaping up as high pressure build into the area. Temperatures will be much cooler as highs will struggle into the upper 60s during the day. We'll continue to see some cloudiness very early in the day, then skies will become mostly sunny. Breezes will still be brisk this afternoon, but not as windy as Sunday was. Expected some winds to gust in the 20 mph range.
Clear skies and cooler temperatures are expected overnight. Expect lows to dip into the mid to upper 40s with 50s along the coast. More sunshine is expected Tuesday with highs in the mid 70s. A fast moving piece of energy will cross the country during the middle part of the week. This should help to reinforce the cooler air. Wednesday's highs will dip back into the 60s, with 70s Thursday and Friday. Lows at night will stay in the 40s.
Clouds will increase Friday into the weekend. A few scattered showers and storms will move through on into Sunday. Highs will rebound back into the 80s.
